Who can benefit from it? 

Those with fructose malabsorption and fructan intolerance, along with people who have digestive problems such as IBS triggered by fructose and/or fructan.

What are the ingredients? 

Alpha Galactosidase, Xylose Isomerase, calcium carbonate and vegetable cellulose.

Does this product contain gluten, preservatives, soy or sugar alcohols? 

NO, this product does not contain any gluten, preservatives, soy or sugar alcohols. 

Is this product vegan? 

YES, FrucMal+ contains no animal products.

How does FrucMal+ work? 

FrucMal+ contains two enzyme, Alpha Galactosidase and Xylose Isomerase. These enzymes work by breaking down and processing fructan into digestible sugars, along with converting fructose into glucose which is easily digested.

Can FrucMal+ help me? 

YES.

A scientific double bind study conducted in 2007 by The University of Pavia, Italy, found that the administration of 1200 GalU of alpha-galactosidase (after the ingestion of Fructans) induced a significant reduction of both breath hydrogen excretion and severity of flatulence, greatly improving abdominal symptoms.

A scientific double blind study conducted in 2012 by Sciotec Diagnostic Technologies, Austria. Found that an orally administered dose of 43.12mg Xylose Isomerase significantly improved symptoms (nausea and abdominal pain) in 84% of patients that ingested 25g fructose. 

How many capsules of FrucMal+ should I take? 

As the body’s capacity to take up fructose in the small intestine differs from one individual to another, we recommend 1 to 3 capsules of FrucMal+ approximately 5 minutes before consuming food and drink that contain fructose and/or fructan. This will vary depending on the individual’s sensitivity to fructose/fructan, and the amount of fructose/fructan contained in the food and drink being consumed. For those who are just beginning to use FrucMal+, try starting with 1 capsule and adjust according to your individual needs and food choices. It's also important to ingest the capsules with a cold liquid, (Both enzymes degrade at temperatures over 60°C).

Can I take FrucMal+ like a vitamin?

NO, both enzymes only remain active in the body for about 45 minutes after consumption. It can only convert fructan/fructose in the smaller intestine during this time. FrucMal+ must be taken immediately before, or during, consuming food containing fructan/fructose to have any benefit.
